MBend Offline Programming & 3D Simulation

Program, verify, and send jobs to the brake without stopping production

Offline bend sequencing · 3D simulation with springback · native NC output

  • ✓Program the next job at a desk while the brake keeps running the current one
  • ✓Catch collisions in 3D simulation before they scrap a part on the machine
  • ✓New programmers get collision-free sequences and setup sheets, not guesswork

Overview

MBend, by Metalix, is offline press-brake programming with true 3D simulation. It builds the bend sequence and tooling setup at a desk, then simulates the full process in 3D, part, tools, fingers, and machine components, with realistic overbend and springback, so collisions and scrap get caught before the machine runs. Tooling is selected automatically or manually from your tool library with built-in collision checks, and the backgauge is handled with automatic fingerstop positioning and retraction calculated by flange geometry. Output is native NC code for direct controller upload plus full setup reports, sequence, tooling, and bend-by-bend graphics. Default hemming tools and editable pre-bend angles, split bends, and drag-and-drop sequence edits keep the manual finesse when you need it.
